BABIES AND OLDER RATS
Rats can breed all year round, in fact rats can get pregnant as soon as they
give birth!
Our goal is to breed healthy and good temperament companions.
No female is over bred, number of litters she has depends on how well she handles her litters, and how well she recovers from her litters. Males are usually bred later in life to insure strong health and temperament.

Being a small-medium scale rattery, availability is limited. We do not keep waiting lists, and cannot reserve particular individuals.
Please see our Facebook for more information on current litters.

ADOPTION PROCESS
Any visits is arranged with appointment only. We require notice as soon as possible if you need to change day, time or running early/late (even by 10-15 minutes).
Meet and greets can be arranged before babies are ready to be homed, however this does not guarantee you will receive the rat you want.
We operate with a first in first pick. We cannot reserve particular rats. If there are any that have caught your eye we recommend to arrange an appointment as soon as you can. We do try to keep the preferred sex especially if you have rats already.
We do not recommend keeping lone rats. Rats need to be kept in pairs or more (same sex or desexed) to be happy. We may refuse single rat homes for the welfare of the animal.
Rats are sold at a minimum of 6-7 weeks of age. This ensures that all the babies have been weaned properly and are completely independent from mum rat.
If circumstances change and can no longer keep your rats, we ask that they are returned to us. We will always take back our rats. Majority of the time the returned rats will stay with us and not be re-homed to keep stress levels of the rats to a minimum.
