Tilly
Tilly is a quiet cuddly girl. She doesn't have that 'busy' nature most girl rats have. Tilly is a wonderful mum and doesn't flinch when I want to look and play with her babies.
Tilly loves her food, she will always come to the door of the cage if she knows its feeding time or can smell something yummy. |
Patch
Patch is a sook. He loves cuddles, food and his beauty sleep. Patch is a laid back boy and mixes well with every rat I've put him with, and isn't the slightest bit bothered by all the other animals he has met.
Because of his gentle nature he sometimes gets picked on by more dominant boys so he doesn't live with the main colony of boys. Patch is a great role model for baby weaned boys and has a few other submissive friends to share his bed with. |
This is quite possible to be both Tilly's and Patch's last litter. Patch is over 2 years old now, and tilly is over 1. Unless Tilly makes a remarkable recovery from this litter she will no longer bred. Tilly made a great recovery from her last litter, and seemed to have put on weight, rather than lose a little as her babies were putting more demand on her. Patch has started showing his age, and is slowing down, but his health is still good and his appetite is still great.
